This title is newly remastered for vinyl as part of an overall Blue Note 75th anniversary vinyl reissue campaign spearheaded by current Blue Note Records President, Don Was. Since his debut, Moran has released eight other albumswith his trio The Bandwagon, solo, or leading other ensemblesand appeared in about thirty albums as a sideman. He has garnered much critical acclaim and won a number of awards for his playing and compositional skills, which combine elements of post-bop and avant-garde jazz, blues, classical music, stride piano, hip hop among others. Currently he is the Artistic Director for Jazz at the Kennedy Center.
